Thanks to the “silo feed house” design, only as much feed as is actually eaten slips out. The rest always stays nice and dry.

Our bird feeders are made from high-quality, weather-resistant larch wood – ideal for year-round outdoor use. The surfaces are protected with a sustainable, wood-based oil from Rubio Monocoat, which allows the wood to breathe while protecting it from moisture.

To ensure a long service life, we recommend cleaning the feeding house regularly and checking it for damage. Old food residue should be removed and the inside wiped out with a damp cloth – little water, little pressure.

Depending on the amount of use, it may be necessary to refresh the wood protection after 1-2 years. All other surfaces should be re-oiled as required.

* UNTREATED: This version is intentionally untreated: roughly sanded, no surface protection, and therefore €30 cheaper than our treated variants. The larch weathers to a beautiful grey in the sun, though it does age faster. Simply hang it up and enjoy or add your own surface protection whenever you like: Especially kids will love it.
